The curtain came down on the Polska Eire 2018 festival on Sunday 10th of June. It was a wonderful day of family fun between not only our two communities but other groups who are now settling in Kilkenny.
It was great to see everyone coming together to help with this
growing Festival. Our Integration Community Cup five sides blitz was a
major success on Saturday when we saw the African Panthers come out on
top as they beat the winners for the past two seasons Ireland. I
personally look forward to the day when Poland win this competition.
Another opportunity is not too far away to claim the Twilight / FAI
Integration World Cup in October of this year.
When One festival finishes we start the count down to the next one We
hope with your help ,and our communities coming together we can make
2019 the best Festival in Ireland! If any one has ideas for an event let
us hear your plans and get it going !

I hope and I trust we can work together and ensure that the Polish
community in Kilkenny can have a major impact on society in Kilkenny
City & County. We are currently working on a number of projects for
our community and we hope to soon get together and plan all activities
that we agree are needed for integration and social inclusion.

The event opened on June 6th when the County Manager opened the festival at the Integration through Numbers Community Bingo in the Orchard House who have been great support to the Twilight Community Group since 2014
The following day saw all the children from the Communities come together for an afternoon of Arts & Crafts all FREE ! Face painting was as usual the Highlight of the Afternoon as they all looked to be Busy bees buzzing through the Halls of the Orchard House , Newpark
The Quiz night was a fun night of General Knowledge Questions and was supported by all communities
Saturday saw the Integration World Cup Soccer With teams from all continents entered . The final came down the Holders Ireland Playing the African Panthers with the Panthers coming out on top in a trilling final 2-1.
Sunday was the “CEAD MILE FAILTE INTEGRATION DAY” as the Polska Eire Festival and all communities including the Newpark Residents association came together to make this a memorable day for all the Communities of Kilkenny making the Polska Eire Festival 2018 a truly Integration for all festival Hers to 2019
