Event 1
Participation: The event involved 195 citizens, including 80 participants from the city of Bükkszentkereszt
(Hungary), 24 participants from the city of Répáshuta (Hungary), 20 participants from the city of Bükkaranyos
(Hungary), 2 participants from the city of Grosuplje (Slovenia), 2 participants from the city of Trittau (Germany), 1 participants from the city of Herceg Novi (Montenegro), 10 participants from the city of Vignanello (Italy), 8 participants from the city of Birgu (Malta),8 participants from the city of Jūrmala (Latvia), 9 participants from the city of Agia (Greece), 8 participants from the city of Jabłonna (Poland), 6 participants from the city of Irig (Serbia), 6 participants from the city of Tallinn (Estonia), 3 participants from the city of

Location / Dates: The event took place in Bükkszentkereszt (Hungary), from 21/10/2021 to 27/10/2021
Short description: The aim of the event was to present the partnership and the project, its objectives and expected results.
The first day was dedicated to the arrivals and accommodation of the delegations, in the evening the opening dinner with a welcome speech by the Mayor, Mr. Konrád Solymosi.
The second day was dedicated to ice-breaking games to introduce the delegates and foster a sense of teamwork were held, together with integration activities organised by local volunteers to foster a sense of community and open up the project to the local community.
Workshop at the Community House in Bükkszentkereszt during the third day of the project, discussing the following task: “Solidarity in times of crisis: the crisis is caused by poverty, disadvantage, migration, social exclusion and unawareness about politic. – Building a future together at local and European level.”.
The fourth day was spent in the neighbouring municipality of Répáshuta, where a debate was held on the theme of “European Union history, values and aims” and debate on cross-border policies between Slovakia and Hungary.
The fifth day was spent in the municipailty of Miskolc – the seat of government of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, where the delegates were welcomed by the Mayor Veres Pál. Debate about cross-border policies and “European Agenda and EU2020 Strategy”, exchanging perspectives and points of view.
Seminar on “What divides Europe? – Debate on the Map of Euroscepticism”, carried out during the sixth international event. Cultural afternoon: visit to Tállya, to the famous wine region Tokaj-hegyalja, to the castle of Boldogkő, to the castle of Regéc and to the Blessing Christ statue in Tarcal. Official closing dinner and gift exchange.
In the morning of October 27th 2021, final greetings and transfer to Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport.

Location / Dates: The event took place in Jabłonna (Poland), from 18/08/2022 to 24/08/2022
Short description: The aim of the event was to discuss the topic of cooperation among EU Countries. The first day was dedicated to the arrivals and accommodation of the delegations, in the evening the opening dinner with a welcome speech by the Mayor, Mr. Jarosław Chodorski.
The second day was dedicated to ice-breaking games to introduce the delegates and foster a sense of teamwork were held, together with integration activities organised by local volunteers to foster a sense of community and open up the project to the local community.
The third day was dedicated to cultural activities. The delegates had the opportunity to visit the polish capital, Warsaw: walking tour of the non-existent city Warsaw Ghetto, tour of the Royal Castle, show in the Fountain Park, etc. A seminar on the following theme was held during the fourth day: “Presentation of state of the art of Euroscepticism and negative campaign in partner Countries – Set up of the Wall of opinions and discussion among the participants”.
Fifth day = cultural morning in Jabłonna: visit to the apple, plum and cherry plantations and visit of the city and its Castle. In the early afternoon, meeting in the educational apiary. In the afternoon, a small debate on “Guided research on reasons, nature and subtleties of Euroscepticism”. The sixth day was dedicated to a morning workshop, discussing the following topic: “Neighbouring Countries: how they affect each other and how they are influenced by the European Union. Analyze the situation in your Country.”. In the afternoon, round tables to discuss the results of the second International Event. Ceremonial dinner with the participation of local authorities at the Palace of Jabłonna. Official conclusion and gift exchange.
On August 24th 2022, final greetins and departure of the delegations to the airports.

Short description: The aim of the event was to discuss the Future of the Union from a citizens’ perspective.
The first day was dedicated to the arrivals and accommodation of the delegations, in the evening the opening dinner with a welcome speech by the president of Twilight Community Group, Mr. Martin Brennan.
The second day was dedicated to ice-breaking games to introduce the delegates and foster a sense of teamwork were held, together with integration activities organised by local volunteers to foster a sense of community and open up the project to the local community.
International conference speeches and music from different Countries regarding Arts, Culture and Heritage and the power to overcome differences and break down barriers and View cultural tables. Storytelling: 3rd country nationals telling the stories of their trip to Europe and their integration. Cultural afternoon in Kilkenny:
visit to the Castle, to the Medieval Mile Museum and to St. Canice’s Cathedral. Multiethnic dinner. March 17th 2023, Irish national holiday: St Patrick’s Day. Parade in the city centre.
During the fifth day of the 3rd International Event, Seminar with experts on the topic “EU policies and agenda on future of Europe (Europe 2030)”. Subsequent debate “Eu2030 – New challenges for integration, economy and internal security”. Round tables to set up an open discussion, time for Question&Answers.
In the morning of the sixth day, departure to the Municipality of Carlow to the Seven Oaks Hotel Keynote speech by Stephanie McDermott, Intercultural and Community Development practitioner. Seminar on Ireland’s collaborative relationship with its neighboring countries, considering the recent Brexit event. In the afternoon, round tables to discuss the results of the Third International Meeting. Official closing dinner and gift exchange. On March 20th 2023, final greetings and departure of the delegations to Dublin airport.
