The Twilight Group Kilkenny traveled to Margny Les Compiegne France and signed a friendship agreement to cooperate on a number of community and social inclusion projects in to the future. The agreement was sign in the newly refurbished City Hall in the wonderful city of Margny Les Compiegne. A wonderful ceremony was performed by the local Twinning committee with a piper leading the way to the centre hall for the signing by both parties
The Twilight Group delegation spent a day with the seniors Forum and planned co operation is now the agreement for 2019 . This will lead to hopefully the Newpark Residents Association and Margny les Compiegne to engage in a exchange of ideas and eventually trips to each others region
The Group were treat to a fantastic reception and friendship that will be remembered for years to come as these to proactive organisations plan to develop strong and vibrant relationship
